Elliotts Premier Roofing is undertaking a significant refurbishment of a large section of the historic Haslar Hospital site, comprising 23 separate blocks.
Our scope includes the installation of new fire-rated insulation systems across all blocks to ensure compliance with modern building regulations, alongside the replacement of over 4,000m² of pitched roofing using fibre cement slates, chosen for their durability, fire resistance, and cost-effectiveness.
We are also installing 2,000m² of Bauder build-up felt systems across flat roof areas to provide long-lasting waterproofing. Throughout the project, careful integration of roofing details is key to preserving the building’s architectural heritage while enhancing its thermal and fire performance.
This project forms part of a high-security conversion, requiring meticulous planning, coordination, and compliance at every stage.
