Elliotts Premier Roofing worked on the three main pitched roofs of a 15th-century, Grade II listed church, a project with very particular requirements to preserve its historic aesthetics.
All roofing work had to match the existing tiles and leadwork. Our highly skilled craftsmen completed the project to ensure a discrete and flawless finish.
Phalempin clay plain tiles were used to blend seamlessly with the existing roof, while standard plain clay tiles were installed in less visible areas. Extensive bespoke leadwork was also created to achieve a superior finish.
The church is also famously known as the “One-Handed Clock.” Situated on the eastern face of the tower, the clock was added in the 17th century and features only one hand, displaying the hours only.
