Elliotts Premier Roofing is delivering the roofing works for a prestigious 60-bed care home for Barchester Healthcare, built on the grounds of a former school site.

Our early involvement in value engineering helped enhance both efficiency and aesthetics. This included replacing traditional lead dormers with a high-quality single-ply membrane, preserving the architectural look while reducing cost and the risk of lead theft. Sandtoft Cassius clay slates were installed across all pitched roofs to achieve a traditional, elegant finish, while Soprema single-ply membrane provided durable and low-maintenance coverage for all flat roof areas.

On the plant room roof, a cold-applied bitumen felt cap sheet was used to deliver enhanced durability under heavy foot traffic. This project showcases a careful balance of practical design innovation and high-end finishes.
