Insurance and Warranties

1.1. This quotation includes Public Liability Insurance cover up to £5,000,000.
1.2. No performance bond or warranty is included unless expressly stated in writing.
1.3. Any warranties or guarantees are conditional upon full and final payment, including the release of any retention sums.

Design Responsibility

2.1. The Client is solely responsible for the preparation and coordination of all design information, including architectural, structural, and product specifications.
2.2. Elliotts Premier Roofing Ltd accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any design or specification provided by or on behalf of the Client or Main Contractor, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Basis of Quotation

3.1. This quotation is based solely on the documents and drawings provided at the time of issue.
3.2. Any subsequent changes to the design, specification, or drawings will require a revised quotation unless otherwise agreed.
3.3. The price is based on a single, continuous visit to site. Additional visits will be charged at £750 per visit, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Working Hours and Site Access

4.1. All pricing assumes unimpeded access during normal working hours (08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday) unless otherwise agreed.
4.2. The Main Contractor shall provide the following at no cost:

• Access scaffolding (max 450mm below top of fascia)
• Temporary power and lighting.
• Water for testing
• Waste removal
• Horizontal and vertical lifting to loading bays
• Mechanical hoist/forks with an operator for unloading and distribution of materials on site
  
  

Programme and Delays

5.1. Quoted pricing is based on the Tender Stage Programme current at the time of quotation.
5.2. Any extensions or deviations to the programme, due to delays or variations outside of our control, shall entitle us to adjust the contract sum accordingly.
5.3. All orders are subject to labour and material availability at the time of written acceptance.

Site Coordination and Preliminary Items

6.1. All preliminary works (including enabling and temporary works) are the responsibility of the Main Contractor unless otherwise specified.
6.2. The Main Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all substrates and related works by others are correct and suitable for roofing works.
6.3. Substrates that fail bond tests or cause rework due to inadequacy shall be corrected at the Main Contractor’s cost.

Labour and Subcontracting

7.1. Elliotts Premier Roofing Ltd reserves the right to engage subcontract labour.
7.2. Regardless of subcontractor involvement, we retain full responsibility for the management, supervision, and quality of works under the contract.
7.3. Each subcontractor remains individually responsible for their third-party liabilities.

Ownership of Materials

8.1. All materials remain the property of Elliotts Premier Roofing Ltd or our subcontractors until full payment has been received.
8.2. Offcut materials and waste to be disposed of into your waste skips.
8.3. We reserve the right to access site to retrieve unused or used equipment and materials until the contract is settled in full.

Payments and Variations

9.1. Payment is due monthly, with settlement required within 14 days, nett of all discounts.
9.2. No variation works shall proceed without a priced and authorised variation order.
9.3. Variation works are subject to the same payment terms as the main contract works.
9.4. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Guarantees and Remedials

10.1. Our guarantee covers new works and materials only.
10.2. Repairs, refurbishments, and alterations are excluded from the guarantee unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10.3. Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant.
10.4. Remedial works outside guarantee coverage or beyond the guarantee period may be chargeable.

Force Majeure

11.1. Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond reasonable control.
11.2. The affected party must notify the other in writing and take reasonable steps to mitigate the delay.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

12.1. All client data is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
12.2. Personal and business information will remain strictly confidential.

Termination

13.1. Either party may terminate the contract by written notice if prices cannot be mutually agreed following the expiration of the fixed price period.
13.2. Elliotts Premier Roofing Ltd reserves the right to terminate the contract if the Client or Main Contractor is in breach of these terms and conditions.

General

14.1. Both parties agree to collaborate to ensure minimal disruption and efficient working methods.
14.2. This quotation remains valid for 3 months from the date of issue or the period defined within supply chain agreements.
14.3. No “Hot Work” restrictions are assumed to apply unless specified otherwise.
